There are Three types of FSSAI Food License. These are FSSAI Basic License, FSSAI Central License and FSSAI State License.

FSSAI Basic License: Obtain the FSSAI Basic License if your food business turnover remains not more than Rs. 12 lakh per annum.
FSSAI Central License:The Central License Form B will be applicable if the business turnover is more than Rs. 20 crore for the FBO (Food Business Operator).
FSSAI State License:The FSSAI State License is applicable for a FBO if the business turnover is between Rs. 12 crore to Rs. 20 crore.

Can you edit the Information on the FSSAI license?

Yes. You can edit the information that is provided on the FSSAI license. The registered Food Business Operator can edit or modify the information on the FSSAI provided license.

Can the FSSAI license ownership be transferred?

Yes. In case of death of an FSSAI license holder, the legal heir or family member of the dead FSSAI license holder can transfer the FSSAI license in his/her name.

Can a person have two FSSAI licenses?

Yes. A person has two FSSAI licenses in case the particular person is running different businesses, for example, meat, fruit and milk.
