Step by Step Process to Check Your Company Status Through MCA Portal

While Incorporating a company through MCA, few details have to be provided regarding the proposed company to be registered to the Registrar of Companies (ROC). Steps for Checking Company status on MCA Portal

There are a few steps that you need to follow while checking the Company Registration status through the MCA portal.

First you have to go into the official website of The Ministry of Corporate Affairs through www.mca.gov.in

Second,after you log into the MCA portal , you will be on the home page.Then Click on the ‘MCA Services” tab, then a drop down will appear where there will be a list of services available.

Third,from that drop down list you will get to see “Master Data” select “View Company or LLP Master Data”.

Fourth,After selecting the ‘View Company or LLP Master Data’ tab you will be automatically redirected to a page which requires “ Company Name/and Company CIN/FCRN/LLPIN/FLLPIN ”.

Fifth, Enter CIN no. and enter the captcha that will appear below the CIN no. search bar. Then click on the submit button and you will be in the page of your company master details. 

After successful submission of the required information as specified above, a new page will be opened having the following  information 

  • CIN Number
  • Company Name
  • Registration Number
  • ROC Code
  • Company Category
  • Company subcategory
  • Authorised Capital (in Rs)
  • Class of Company
  • Paid up Capital (in Rs)
  • Number of members (Applicable in case of company without share capital)
  • Date of Incorporation
  • Registered Address
  • Address other than R/O where all or any books of account and papers are maintained
  • Email Id
  • Whether listed or not
  • ACTIVE compliance
  • Suspended at stock exchange
  • Date of last AGM
  • Date of balance sheet 
  • Company status (for efiling)

Charges of a Company 

“Charge as per section 2(16) of the Companies act 2013 means an interest or lien created on the property or assets of a Company or any of its undertakings or both as security and includes a mortgage”

Signatory details 

 

The list of Directors of a Company can be found using the Signatory Details search functionality of the MCA Portal. To check the Directors of a Company The following details pertaining to Directors of a Company or Partners of an LLP are available online:

  • DIN Number Details
  • Name of the Directors or Partners
  • Address of the Directors or Partners
  • Designation
  • Date of Appointment
  • Digital Signature Status.

There is also another way, by which you can find the signatory details of the directors of a company.

First, you have to go to the official website of The Ministry of Corporate Affairs through  www.mca.gov.in

Fourth, After selecting the view ‘Signatory details’ tab you will be automatically redirected to a page which requires “ Company Name/and Captcha ”.

Steps you should follow for Downloading a Certificate of Incorporation  From MCA

You need to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Log in to the ‘Ministry of Corporate Affairs portal’ i.e. MCA. You will need your user ID and password.
  • Navigate to the ‘Get Certified Copies’ tab under the ‘MCA Services’ tab.
  • Type the CIN number for which you need the certified copies and choose the company details.
  • Choose the document for which a certified copy is needed and the year in which the same was filed. For this reason, it is always suggested to verify the document via public inspection and then proceed.
  • Choose the number of pages, range and copies needed as certified.
  • The fee details needed to be paid will be displayed on the screen along with the stamp duty charges. Click on the ‘Add to cart’ option.
  • At this step, you will be able to add more documents for which you need certified copies. Always ensure to add attachments individually as choosing the form alone will not imply that the attachments will also be certified. The request for getting certified copies of your attachments needs to be made individually.
  • Once you have chosen the documents, click on the option ‘View Payment details’.
  • Click on ‘Make a payment’.
  • Make payments using payment modes such as credit card, debit card, internet banking, or NEFT.
