The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited or WBSEDCL is a state-owned electricity regulation board operating within the state of West Bengal in India. WBSEDCL is responsible for providing power to 96% of West Bengal with a customer base of more than 1.68 crores across the state.

Save Water and Electricity, Save Environment, keep Nature clean and green To; the Station Mamager, Ukilpara MSK Branch,Samajpara office, Jalpaiguri Subject: INCORRECT/ FICTITIOUS BILL – Correction Requested as stated below Dear Sir/Madam ID-422144105 (1) This is to inform you that I have already paid/cleared payment of the bill to the tune of Rs.15,511/-[ which included some outstanding dues] for the period from February,2021 to April,2021 vide the Receipt No-127304561414dated 01-02-2021based on the previous reading 11369 dated 13-08-20 to present reading 12942 dated21-01-2021 [ total units- 1573]. (2) Unfortunately an incorrect[ fictitious bill] was sent to me by SMS on 18-08-2021 [ in my mobile No-9832311181] followed by the downloaded bill from your Samaj Para Office on 19-08-2021which shows the previous reading as 11369 on 13-08-2021. This previous reading should be 12942 dated 21-01-2021 in terms of (1) above and the present reading 16469 on 20-07-2021 = Total Units consumed 3527. (3) Accordingly based on the total units consumed from dated 21-01-2021 to 20-07-2021 [ Total Units 3527] a fresh bill needed to be prepared by the Accounts Section in your Division-office and be sent to me after adjustment of amount paid Rs.19700/ on 19-08-2021. I am almost a super senior citizen[ age-nearly 79 years] and suffering from many sorts of old age ailments and almost incapable to walk freely due to knee pain. Considering above, kindly make necessary correction of the current bill with adjustment of the amount paid[ Rs.19700/-] and send an SMS again to enable me to clear off the current bill. Last 1years we have beencompain regarding continued electricity shut down, without any information, but no progress, I have complaint to BDO but there is no such step has taken, I think wbsedcl is the worsted service provider in the world. Each and every emp of wbsedcl are lired, the do not have manners to give us information, last 10days every morning electricity is going by 6:30 and it is coming 11:30 , that bloody service provider dose not have cause to shut down every day Jujersaha, dhulagori, howrah -711302
